　　Solvents: Used in solvent-based coatings (such as alkyd resin coatings, polyurethane coatings) to dissolve resins and regulate drying speed, improving the leveling and gloss of the coating film;

　　Coalescing Agents: Used as co-solvents in water-based coatings to enhance the compatibility between emulsions and pigments and promote film formation;

　　Inks: Used in water-based and solvent-based inks to improve the adhesion of inks to substrates such as paper and plastic.

　　2. Cleaning Agents and Degreasers

　　As components of metal cleaners and electronic component cleaners, they dissolve oil stains, grease, and resin-based dirt, and are particularly suitable for cleaning precision instruments and circuit boards;

　　Can be compounded with other solvents (such as ethanol, acetone) to enhance decontamination capabilities.

　　3. Industrial Solvents and Intermediates

　　As reaction solvents for organic synthesis (such as the preparation of esters and ethers);

　　Used as degreasers in leather processing, or as raw materials for pesticide emulsifiers.

　　Used in small amounts in cosmetics (such as nail polish, hair spray) as solvents to adjust product viscosity;
